The Foundation of Our Practice — Where Eastern and Western Medicine Meet
For over 20 years, these three disciplines have formed the core of our integrative approach. Each addresses a different dimension of health — structural, neurological, and biochemical — and when combined under one experienced clinician, they produce results that no single therapy can achieve alone.
Chiropractic Care
The spine is more than a column of bones — it is the protective housing of your central nervous system, the master control system of your body. When spinal joints lose proper motion or alignment, they irritate nearby nerves, alter muscle tone, restrict movement, and generate pain that can radiate far beyond the spine itself — into the head, shoulders, arms, hips, and legs. Left uncorrected, these dysfunctions accelerate joint degeneration and lead to compensation patterns that spread the problem to other areas.
Precise chiropractic adjustment restores normal joint motion and alignment, relieving nerve irritation and allowing muscles, discs, and surrounding tissues to function and heal as designed. Dr. Lee performs advanced spinal correction using modern, evidence-informed techniques — gentler, safer, and more precise than ever before — and adapts every adjustment to the patient's age, bone density, condition, and comfort level, serving patients ranging from competitive athletes to seniors with osteoporosis.
Functions & Benefits:
- Relieves acute and chronic back pain, neck pain, and sciatica
- Reduces tension headaches, cervicogenic headaches, and many migraines
- Restores joint mobility, flexibility, and healthy range of motion
- Decreases nerve irritation and radiating pain into the arms and legs
- Corrects posture and faulty movement patterns caused by desk work and phone use

- Supports whole-body wellness through improved nervous system function
- Drug-free and non-surgical — no masking symptoms with medication
Acupuncture, Electro-Acupuncture & Cupping
Acupuncture is one of the world's oldest continuously practiced medical arts — and modern research has begun to explain its mechanisms. Stimulating specific anatomical points activates the body's own pain-modulating systems: it triggers the release of endorphins and other neurotransmitters, regulates pain signaling in the spinal cord and brain, improves local circulation, and calms the sympathetic "fight-or-flight" response that keeps chronic pain patients in a state of tension.
We use only hair-thin, sterile, single-use needles. Insertion is usually painless — at most, a brief tingling or gentle heaviness that practitioners consider a sign of therapeutic effect. Needles remain in place 15 to 30 minutes while you rest; many patients fall asleep during treatment and describe sessions as profoundly restorative.
As an NCCAOM Diplomate in both Acupuncture and Herbology, Dr. Lee holds national board certification in Oriental medicine — formal graduate-level training, not a weekend certificate.
Functions & Benefits:
- Relieves acute and chronic pain — back, neck, joint, nerve, and myofascial pain
- Reduces headaches and migraine frequency and intensity
- Calms stress, anxiety, and tension; supports deeper, more restful sleep
- Helps manage allergies, sinus congestion, and seasonal symptoms
- Eases nausea and supports healthy digestion
- Promotes circulation and accelerates tissue recovery
- Supports hormonal balance and overall energy
- Complements chiropractic care by relaxing muscles before or after adjustment
Electro-Acupuncture applies a gentle, precisely calibrated pulsing current to the needles, delivering continuous and consistent stimulation that manual needling cannot sustain. This makes it especially valuable for stubborn chronic pain, nerve-related conditions, and rehabilitation of muscle weakness or paralysis, where research shows that stronger, sustained stimulation yields superior outcomes.
Cupping uses controlled suction to gently lift the fascia and superficial tissue, decompressing tight, congested muscle layers and drawing fresh, oxygenated blood into the area. This releases deep muscular tension, loosens adhesions between tissue layers, supports circulatory and lymphatic drainage, and provides lasting relief for stubborn soreness of the neck, shoulders, and back. Athletes worldwide use cupping for exactly this reason: faster recovery and freer movement.
Nutrition Therapy
Every process your body performs — repairing a disc, calming inflammation, building muscle, maintaining energy — depends on the raw materials you provide it. This is why nutritional care is built into our treatment philosophy rather than added as an afterthought: structural treatment corrects the mechanics, but nutrition determines how well and how fast your body heals.
The modern food environment and unregulated supplement industry make good decisions genuinely difficult. Do you know which supplements your body actually needs — and which are wasted money? How they interact with one another, and with your prescription medications? As a formally trained nutritionist, Dr. Lee cuts through the marketing and designs a structured, personalized nutritional program based on your health history, condition, and goals.
Functions & Benefits:
- Accelerates tissue repair and recovery from injury and treatment
- Targets chronic inflammation — a root driver of pain and degenerative disease
- Provides personalized supplement guidance: what to take, what to avoid, and why
- Screens for supplement–medication interactions for your safety
- Supports healthy weight management, integrated with your care plan
- Improves energy, digestion, and sleep quality through dietary correction
- Builds practical, sustainable eating habits — not temporary fad diets
- Reduces long-term risk of lifestyle-related chronic conditions
